David was recognized very early in his life as a talented young artist. He attended Boston Latin School when he was selected to attend a very prestigious after school art program called the Museum School at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Upon graduation he received many Art scholarship offers and was also accepted into his dream school, RISD (Rhode Island School of Design). Unfortunately with very little financial aid offered he was unable to afford the hefty tuition at RISD. He then decided to attend the Design program at Roger Williams College in Bristol, RI for one year, before transferring to the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. There he enrolled in the very demanding Interior Design program and pursued a degree in Interior Design and Space Planning with a minor in Graphic Arts. The Interior Design program is well known for producing top designers and artists in the design industry.
He has since taken many positions in the Design and Sales & Marketing industries. Working as an independent designer and consultant he has worked on both large and small projects. One of the largest being the restoration and redesign and build-out of a 100 year old building, into residential condominiums and commercial retail space, along with commercial landscape and space planning projects.
David has been in local press and publications for award winning contemporary designs
